These are the very first pics, hot off the camera, of the absolutely extraordinary destination wedding of @georgie.murphy_ and @cal_m97 😍😍😍

The couple and their guests had a truly memorable time on the stunning Greek island of Ios 🇬🇷 What a vibe it was….

Welcome drinks at the beautiful @bamboo_beachretreat turned into a long night of partying in Chora town followed by a ‘day off’ to recover, although it turned into a fabulous day of gentle celebrations.

The wedding day itself began at @dionysos_ios where the couple and their bridal and groom parties got ready. Then everyone headed over to the island’s jaw dropping amphitheatre, built atop one of the many hills and overlooking Mylopotas beach and the blue blue blue Aegean Sea 🏝️

Our very own Chief Dream Maker, Nick, delivered a lovely ceremony and then it was on to the unparalleled magic of @iosclubweddingsevents. Frankly, there are few venues in the world that can match the cool decor and Greek island vibes of this awesome venue. And when the sunset arrives, there aren’t too many places better for delivering the PERFECT golden hour shots 🌅

Normally, you might think that a full wedding day would end at 1am but not with this group. The party continued until well into the very early hours, with at least one of the bride’s sisters not being done until 6.30am - now that’s how to celebrate your sister’s big day @issyfoster 🎉

And as if that wasn’t enough, the whole gang headed over to the chill vibe of @erego_ios for a relaxed pool party 🏊‍♀️

Transport throughout was provided by @my_ios_transfer in their luxury air conditioned vans, for which everyone was very grateful!!

Overall, this has got to be one of the best weddings and celebrations we’ve ever been involved with. What an AMAZING couple - gorgeous and great fun - and a guest list that continuously showed their love and support for them. And ultimately, that’s what makes great weddings. The fact we were all on Ios, with the sun shining, the drinks flowing and the blue sea lapping, was just a bonus 🤩

💫 BLAST OFF 💫

Was so great to see the new Just About Weddings Food And Drink service up and running on the busiest weekend of the year 🥳

What a SUPER success - feeding over 300 people, not just the main canapés, wedding breakfasts and evening food, but night before BBQs, morning breakfast service and, of course, the awesome bar service 🍱🍸

With white gloved and uniformed waiting staff, smoke effects across the tables and scented smoke bubbles with cocktails coming as standard, this is a premium service, at non premium pricing 😁

🫶 WINNERS 🫶

Way back on the 31st of March 2024, the fabulous @becki.k and @con_0704 were pulled out the hat and named the winners of our extraordinary Greece wedding giveaway 💒🇬🇷

The prize included the venue for the wedding day, including accommodation for 10 for the night of the wedding, the celebrant to provide the ceremony, almost all of the floristry/table decor, the food, photo and film for both the wedding day and the welcome drinks party, hair and makeup and the DJ.

The whole 4 day event was planned and coordinated on the ground by the Just About Weddings Planning team, recently named the Best Wedding Planning Service in Europe in the Global Wedding Awards 🥇

The prize saved the couple a whopping £25,000+ 💰

We know many people are suspicious about wedding giveaways and whether they’re real or not - hopefully the pictures on this post show just how real this giveaway was 😍

Whilst most of the prize was delivered by our incredible, and incredibly talented, Just About Weddings Group team, we must say a huge thank you to our partner venue @palazzodip_zante, the delicious culinary team @food_consept_catering, as well as the brilliant @rubyssakiskandilas on the decks 🎶

The welcome drinks were hosted at the stunning @movida_zakynthos, with their spectacular views over Zante Town and Port, and delicious drinks 🍸🛥️
